2011-2012 Midterm Exams
Midterm Semester Exams will be given Tuesday, January 24 - Friday, January 27, 2012.  Due to the unpredictable nature of winter weather, students are encouraged to make sure that they always take home study materials beginning Tuesday, January 17 for their exams. Having the materials at home will assist students in being prepared for their exams if any school closings occur the week prior. For the full exam schedule, please click here.  Changes and modifications to the exam schedule due to winter weather will be posted on our website.

Exam Policy
Students and parents are reminded that during midterm and final exam weeks, all absences from exams require pre-approval from an administrator.  Absences compromise test security and complicate the grade reporting process.  Very few requests for make-up exams will be granted.  Acceptable reasons for missing an exam include a death in the family, a court date or a serious illness.  Please schedule doctor’s appointments and family trips around these exam weeks.  They are scheduled well in advance.  Midterm exams will be given the week of January 23 through January 27, 2012.  Final exams for seniors begin the second week in June.  For all others, final exams are administered between June 11 and June 15, 2012.

We welcome your checks at Stonewall Jackson High School, however, if your check is returned for insufficient funds, we will electronically present it to your bank for the face value plus a $35 processing fee and any protest or bad check return fee charged by your financial institution.  This action will be taken without further notice.  All returned checks referred for collection are subject to a $35 processing fee, any protest or bad check fee charged by your financial institution, and all other charges, interest and attorney's fees allowed by law.
Manassas Mall School Sense
Manassas Mall is pleased to offer its School Sense incentive program for a second year to help local schools earn free computers, a/v tools, sporting equipment, and more. Parents and teachers can turn in purchase receipts from any Manassas Mall store (excluding J.C. Penney, Macy's, and Target) to the mall management office to earn points for the school of their choice. Participating schools can then "shop" from a catalog of supplies with their cumulative school points. Since last year, our School Division as a whole has accumulated more than 255,000 points.
