Student Schedules and Supply List
Students will receive their 1st period/class schedule via US mail, prior to school starting. They will also receive their full schedule on the first day of school from their 1st period/class teacher. In addition, during the first week of school, students will receive a supply list from each teacher. Students are expected to have basic supplies- notebook, pencils, pens, sticky notes, flash drive, backpack- to start the school year.
Attention Student Drivers
Student Parking Passes for the upcoming school year will be sold on August 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gym Lobby. The spaces will be sold first come first served. Student gets to select their assigned spot for the school year. Student MUST present a valid driver's license and MUST have a completed application with a parent's signature along with the payment of $100. Cash and checks made payable to "SJHS" are the only methods of payment that will be accepted. Parking Enforcement will begin Monday, September 7, 2015.
2015-16 Planning Council
Stonewall Jackson High School is seeking interested parents to serve as a representative on the Local School Planning Council for the 2015-2016 school year. If interested or have questions please contact the principal, Mr. Richard Nichols or visit the Planning Council page located under the Administration tab to the left.  The application for this year's council can also be found on that page.
Free and Reduced Price Meal Applications
Free and Reduced Price Meal Applications were mailed via email or US mail by the School Division to families with children registered in Prince William County Public Schools. If you did not receive an application, please contact School Food and Nutrition Services at 703.791.7314 or your school. You may also complete the application electronically. Visit the School Division Web site at www.pwcs.menus.schoolfusion.us/  to access the electronic application.
Summer Assignments
The 2015 reading lists and summer assignments for all grades are posted on the Summer Assignments webpage, also accessible under the "For Students & Parents" menu to the left.  Any summer assignments will be added as they become available.
Back-to-School Night
Stonewall Jackson High School has scheduled its 2015-16 “Back-to-School Family Celebration” for Thursday, September 10th from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm.  The celebration will begin in the auditorium with a special welcome and address by school principal, Dr. Richard Nichols.There will also be representatives and sponsors from many school groups to assist parents and students with an opportunity to sign up for a variety of activities. In addition, parents will be able to turn in Parent Portal email confirmations in the library. For more information about the Parent Portal, click on the Parent Portal link on the side menu. We hope to see you on Thursday, September!

New Administrative Intern
Please join us in welcoming Maria Anderson, former Stonewall Spanish teacher, as our new administrative-intern. We are excited that Maria is joining our Leadership Team this year! Maria taught for five years at Stonewall in the World Languages Department and has worked in the central office for the past year in the translation and interpretation offices for the ESOL Department!
Mandatory Concussion Training
Mandatory concussion training for sport athletes for 2015-2016 will be held at SJHS on the following days:

Wednesday, August 5, 2015 @ 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 4, 2015 @ 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, February 17, 2016 @ 6:00 p.m.

We welcome your checks at Stonewall Jackson High School, however, if your check is returned for insufficient funds, we will electronically present it to your bank for the face value plus a $35 processing fee and any protest or bad check return fee charged by your financial institution.  This action will be taken without further notice.  All returned checks referred for collection are subject to a $35 processing fee, any protest or bad check fee charged by your financial institution, and all other charges, interest and attorney's fees allowed by law.
