Daylight Savings Time Change
Time to move your clock forward by one hour for the time-honored tradition of Daylight Savings and lose an hour of sleep in the process. At 2 am Sunday, March 8, Daylight Savings Time will cause time to spring ahead one hour to 3 am.
New Student-Run Tech Help
In the 2015-2016 school year, SJHS in planning to launch a student-run tech help desk during the lunch periods.This will fill the place of an elective and will count for credit. If you are technically inclined and interested in providing technical support for your classmates, please contact Tina Brunn (brunncl@pwcs.edu) or Kevin Stump (stumpkw@pwcs.edu) if you have questions. To apply, completethis formand give it to your counselor during course scheduling.
IBMA College Fair
The IBMA College Fair will be on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from noon to 3pm. IB students interested in attending must register through the IB office at SJHS. Click here for more information.
Band Spirit Night
On Tuesday, March 10th, the SJHS band will be having a spirit day fundraiser at Ledo's pizza on Liberia Avenue. Make any purchase at the restaurant, tell them you are supporting the band or show them the flyer, and a percentage of the sale will go right back to the band!Hope to see you out there!
2015 Talent Show
Can you sing? Can you dance? Stand on your head and whistle a tune? Whatever your talent, the SALC Talent Show is looking for you! The SALC will be hosting its 2015 Talent Show on April 10, 2015 in the auditorium at 7:00 p.m. Auditions for the talent show will be held March 9 - 12, 2015. Cosmetology
Paper applications will be requiredto apply for the Cosmetology program. Click here to download a copy of the application. Students should print and submit completed applications to theirschool counselors whomay then send them via the courier service to Stonewall Jackson High School Cosmetology Department. Class of 2015 Graduation
The Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2015 have been confirmed for June 9, 2015 at Jiffy Lube Live at 7:00 pm. More information will follow at a later date.
